Background

I am currently a PhD student in Epidemiology & Biostatistics with concentration in Data Analysis & Modelling. My journey includes a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a master in Statistics. Prior to joining UGA, I worked as a Biostatistician for Vanderbilt University Medical Center for a little over 3 years.

Research Interests

I am interested in promoting colorectal cancer screening among early-onset patients (< 50 years of age).

Goals for MADA

I hope to improve my programming skills. Although I have a few years of professional experience working as a Biostatisician, I still make tones of mistakes on a daily basis. There is still a huge opportunity for learning, I would like to learn how to efficiently write R codes and explore different programming tool.

Fun Fact

I released my first book over last summer. Title is “The Champion In You”. It is a memoir discussing my journey from growing up in Congo till where I am today with my career/Education. I’m discussing the challenges met and strategies for copind.
